TECNO PAPER assign to SAEL the drive and automation of the new winder of MRS KARTON, Turkey

After acquiring the order for a new winder turn-key project, by MRS KARTON-Turkey, Tecno Paper chose SAEL as sub-supplier for the drive and automation with DCS part of control and command.

With a strong knowledge in the field of drives and automation in winders, as a result of numerous and continuous works carried out in the largest and most prestigious paper groups, SAEL was chosen by the paper mill by mutual agreement. MRS Karton selected the SAEL DRIVE of “PLATFORM ONE” exclusively studied for papermill. The choice laid on the flexible and expandable drive system and the DCS Scalink platform always included in this kind of application, which can match with the drives for the papermill’s future applications.

“Our high performance is due to the drive control system, where, inside the processor, there are all the functions studied and performed in paper industry. All these functions help to transform and obtain high regulation dynamics during transients – during accelerations and decelerations of the machine, in which the web tension accuracy must remain as stable as possible. Our mechanical shaft regulation, always included in our drive systems, conclude the perfection in winder technology.” said Paolo Andrighetti of SAEL.

Tecno Paper will provide the engineering and furniture of all the winder – SAEL will provide all the cabinet, desk, automation performed with PLC S7 1500 in File Safe including all on-board wiring.

With the new DCS WINDER SAEL, with two 22 inch screens installed on the desk, the papermill will be able to have in hand the complete machine, and to control their production in a perfect way and in order to give a completely new prospect and dynamic to the operators, having the possibility to control in an absolute way the complete process of the winder.
