AFT to deliver MaxEdge refiners to Naini Papers in India

AFT (Aikawa Fiber Technologies) has received an order from Naini Papers Limited to supply new refiners for PM1 and PM2 at the company’s mill in Kashipur, Uttarakhand, India. The investment is part of Naini Papers’ continued development of its production technology, aimed at improving paper quality and production efficiency.
Naini Papers is an integrated paper manufacturer producing a broad portfolio of writing and printing papers, speciality grades and industrial papers. The company has continued to invest in the modernisation of its manufacturing operations.
AFT’s delivery will include four MaxEdge™ double-disc refiners, with two units supplied for each paper machine. The new refining systems will support efficient fibre development and provide Naini Papers with modern refining technology for its PM1 and PM2 production lines.

Technical scope of supply
The delivery comprises four MaxEdge™ double-disc refiners for Naini Papers’ PM1 and PM2, with two units to be installed on each paper machine. The scope will be complemented by commissioning and start-up support.
MaxEdge™ refining technology is designed to provide efficient and controlled fibre development while supporting stable operation, energy efficiency and consistent paper quality. Delivery is scheduled for December 2026.
