Cordenons Paper Mill in Italy.

Cordenons Paper Mill has assigned SAEL to rebuild the drives and automation of its Coating Machine N°1 and the Sheeter N°2 in line with 2st coater. The investment, that will be launched during August 2020, was made for a necessary update of the drive command, previously in DC, with the PLATFORM ONE in AC equipped it with the DCS in Drive. All the new equipment and PLC are with safety management. In August 2020 all AC motors, all control panels, automation and our DCS in Drive SAEL will be supplied with a turn-key solution. SAEL will therefore take care of eliminating the old existing electrical panels, positioning and wiring of the new panels, wiring all the networks and starting up the coating machine.

The Cordenons Paper Mill, an old SAEL customer followed by the company for more than 30 years, has always shown interest in long-lasting technology. Over the years it has always shown interest in applying the SAEL products developed exclusively for the paper sector which, unlike other competitors (they change product every max 8-10 years), aim to give a long-lasting guarantee in each component making them almost eternal, by SAEL service that can also repair 30 years old electronic boards.

Platform ONE drives
together with the DCS Scalink to manage the Coating Machine, is the best way to reduce the costs of spare parts, faults and substitution timing. With Platform ONE drives, now the papermill will have the possibility to keep only ONE electronic card as a spare part. The old electrical cabinets will be completely removed, creating a new long-life system, completely digital drive with film capacitors and automation system to last.

With the philosophy of SAEL, the Company want to give to the customer the ONE and only solution for all their challenges, saving time and money but also providing no less than the most updated and revolutionary technology existing in the market.
