Cannon Artes inaugurates 2020 with the award by MG TEC Industry of the Effluent Treatment Plant for a new tissue factory in Romania

Artes Ingegneria SpA (Cannon Artes) has been awarded by MG TEC Industry, within the project «Developing a production unit for MG TEC INDUSTRY SRL», financed by the state aid scheme instituted through GD No.  807/2014 with further modifications and completions administered by the Ministry of Public Finance, the integrated Waste Water Treatment Plant for a new grass-root tissue-producing factory to be established in Dej, Romania.

Artes Ingegneria Spa is responsible for the process and detail design of the equipment, procurement, shop fabrication, testing, erection supervision, commissioning, start-up and training of the Client personnel. The Waste Water Treatment Plant’s heart is the Membrane Bio-Reactor (MBR) technology for which Cannon Artes boasts an extensive experience. The WWTP also features an inlet lifting station with coarse filtration, an equalization section, a dissolved-air-flotation and an integrated sludge dehydration unit.

The plant is designed to treat all water effluents coming from the tissue producing process with an overall  capacity of up to 3,400 m3/day.  Treated water will meet the most stringent Romanian and EU standards that will further enable reuse of treated water within the factory. Great attention was also paid to the reduction of chemicals and energy consumption. This can be achieved because of a very efficient automation system that also enables remote supervision and control of the plant. “Sustainability” was definitely a key point in the selection of technologies and equipment.

Cannon Artes committed to an extremely tight schedule in order to comply with the fast-track philosophy of the overall project.
