Recard seals a contract with Star Paper Mill Ltd. in Abu Dhabi
Recard lands once again in the United Arab Emirates thanks to the contract signed with Star Paper Mill Ltd. in Abu Dhabi for the supply of a turnkey plant for the production of high quality tissue.
This is the sixth machine that Recard installs in the Arabian Peninsula following the one for Emirates Paper Mills Ltd and the four supplied to Saudi Paper.
The plant, equipped with two stock preparation lines (long and short virgin fiber) and two rewinders with variable-crown calendar to enhance paper softness, will produce about 38 thousand tons per year. The Crescent Former will be provided with a latest-generation shoe press. Start-up is scheduled for Spring 2018.
