Raute received order worth Euro 13 million from UPM’s mill in Otepaa, Estonia

Raute Corporation has received orders worth approximately Euro 13 million for the machinery and equipment for the expansion of UPM Plywood’s mill in Otepää, Estonia, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The most important machinery and equipment included in the scope of delivery are veneer peeling, composing and patching lines, a veneer dryer and a plywood lay-up line. The deal also includes machine vision and moisture analyzers and a management information system. The deliveries will take place during the spring and summer 2016.

UPM Plywood is the leading plywood manufacturer in Europe with production, in addition to Finland, in Estonia and Russia. The machinery and equipment ordered from Raute are a part of the Otepää mill investment program, through which the annual capacity of the mill will be increased up to 90,000 cubic meters.
