Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill improved energy efficiency of its PM2 in Ukraine

Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill (CPM) started up a new shoe press at PM-2. According to the announcement, the target of the project was to reduce steam consumption by 25%.

The new equipment supplied by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries is expected to positively impact testliner and fluting production costs. Earlier Kyiv CPM started the production of a new brand of low-grammage liner.

The company is one of the largest European producers of cardboard and paper products. The plant is located in Obukhiv city (Kyiv region) on the area of around 99 ha, employing about 2200 people.
