Hamburger Containerboard postpones decision on new PM to first quarter 2016

Hamburger Containerboard, a Prinzhorn Holding company, is planning to install a new 450,000 tpy recycled containerboard machine by 2017. However, the decision on where to locate the new PM is still pending.

Hamburger has still made no final decision on the future location for its new recycled containerboard machine. The decision was originally expected for the end of 2015, but has been postponed to the first quarter next year, the company told EUWID.

The two industrial sites, that are considered as the potential “home” for the new 450,000 tpy PM, are Spremberg, Germany, and Dentas, Turkey.
