Cascades receives recognition for leadership and innovation

Cascades has received a series of awards and distinctions recognising the company’s performance in leadership, innovation, responsible business practices and talent development. The Cascades Fluff® Excellence bathroom tissue range, launched in 2025, was named Best Canadian Product in its category at the 33rd Canadian Grand Prix New Product Awards organised by the Retail Council of Canada.

According to Cascades, the recognition reflects the company’s expertise, product quality and commitment to developing locally sourced products designed to meet the needs and expectations of consumers and customers. Cascades was also included in Corporate Knights’ annual ranking of Canada’s Best 50 Corporate Citizens for the twentieth consecutive year.

The company moved up to eighth place overall and retained its position as the highest-ranked business in the containers and packaging industry.

Cascades said the result reflects the proportion of its revenues generated from responsible sources and sustainable investments, an approach that has been central to its business model for more than 60 years.

In June 2026, the company launched its fifth sustainability plan, described as its most ambitious to date. The plan reinforces Cascades’ commitment to sustainable development and its objective of maximising the potential of its partners while reducing their environmental footprint.

The company also highlighted the inclusion of Taiwo Dada among Pulp & Paper Canada’s Top 10 Under 40.

Dada joined Cascades in 2021 and has progressed from process manager to plant manager in training. The recognition acknowledged his leadership, capacity for innovation, commitment to continuous improvement and contribution to mentoring and developing colleagues.

Cascades said the awards demonstrate the strength of a business model based on innovation, sustainable performance and employee engagement, whether through the development of products valued by consumers, responsible business practices or the development of emerging talent.

Founded in 1964, Cascades provides sustainable packaging, hygiene and recovery solutions. The company employs close to 9,000 people across a network of approximately 60 operating facilities in North America.
