BRUKS to supply chipping line at SREP’s Scotland Project

Bruks Klockner GmbH will deliver a chipping line for a capacity of 80 to/h fuel production to Speyside Renewable Energy Partnership Limited (SREP) for the wood chip-fired biomass power plant project in Scotland.

SREP is owned by John Laing, the UK Green Investment Bank and the developer, Estover Energy Ltd.

The biomass plant itself will be built by German Standardkessel GmbH under an EPC contract and is projected to commence operation in early 2016.

The power plant will supply around 11 MW electricity to the grid and 9 MW heat to the Macallan whisky distillery.
