Valmet signs a two-year service agreement with FPC Tissue Spa to ensure optimal mill performance

Valmet signed a two-year automation service agreement with the FPC Tissue mill in Chile. The objective of the agreement is to secure optimal performance of process control systems and maintain consistent product quality on the mill’s tissue machine TM 1.

With Valmet’s expertise and proactive support, we can maintain high product quality and optimize performance across the entire line,” stated Marco Monsalvez López, Operations Manager, FPC Tissue.

The agreement encompasses comprehensive services for the Valmet DNA Distributed Control System (DCS) and the Valmet IQ Quality Control System (QCS) on TM 1. It includes maintenance activities, 24/7 remote and on-site technical support, training for operators and engineers, and ongoing performance monitoring based on key performance indicators.
