Shanying Paper International to acquire Nordic Paper
Nordic Paper Holding is changing the ownership as Shanying Paper International is about to acquire the pulp- and paper company.
CEO Per Bjurbom from Nordic Paper has signed the cooperation agreement together with Shanying Paper Internationals Chairman of the Board, Wu Mingwu. “We are really looking forward to the new ownership. It´s a long-term industrial owner and that is something that we strongly believe will be good for the company and the employees future,” says Per Bjurbom.
The acquisition of Nordic Paper Holding AB makes Shanying one of Chinas biggest paper and packaging manufacturers with global focus. Nordic Paper will remain as an independent European pulp and paper company and there will be no changes regarding the business or the operations at the moment.
Shanying is a China-based pulp and paper company and its core business consists of recycled fibre trading, kraft paper manufacturing, packaging, design, printing and logistics. The company is part of the Taison Group.
