ICT Ibérica turns its new PM22 machine on

The new PM22, a Valmet Advantage DCT with capacity of 70,000 tonnes/year, incorporates cutting edge production technologies capable of manufacturing Ultra Quality products featuring significant thickness and smoothness, with high levels of efficiency and remarkable savings in energy consumption. It is the perfect machine to tackle the challenges presented by the tissue market both with regards to Quality and costs.

The B2 Project also included extending the Converting sector, where Industrie Cartarie Tronchetti has already installed several lines. The roll and napkin lines are operative already while the handkerchief ones are under installation. This investment allows ICT to widen the commercial range and introduce on the market innovative products featuring ICT Group style motifs.

The HBW – a new automatic storage system with 25,000 pallet capacity – is already in operation, which will be conducive to improving service quality and increasing stocks, thus complementing the production offer.

The expected time frames since its inception have been complied with, thanks to the contribution by personnel and all the companies of the Group, whose experience, professionalism and commitment have made today’s reality possible.

This investment is aimed at being a leading, World Class Company, in keeping with the Group’s strategy: “being a landmark independent manufacturer of the European distribution, for the confidence inspired by the quality of its products, service flexibility, innovation, social responsibility and sustainability”
