Futura maps the future during MIAC debut

Following a record year in 2016, Futura made its debut at MIAC in Lucca last week with a strong message about being Partners in Performance, thanks to significant orders this year from the Americas and Europe, as well as investments in service and technology.

Futura enjoyed particularly strong interest in its high-performance, user-tailored converting lines at the event, enhanced by a live-demonstration open house held concurrently at FuturaLab.

“MIAC has been a great experience for us and an opportunity to provide an update on our technology, success in the market and ongoing developments in service,” said CEO Piero Ceccon. “Futura is recognized as the leader in the segment in terms of technology, quality and innovation. The message was also clear that our solutions are adaptable according to the needs of individual geographical and product markets, and supported by a comprehensive and expanding service structure.”

Ongoing investments include important progress in R&D at FuturaLab in Lucca, and in global service at the manufacturing headquarters in Lucca, the North America hub of operations in Alpharetta, Georgia, USA and for Latin America in Joinville, Brazil.
