American Forest & Paper Association releases December 2014 Kraft statistics report

The American Forest & Paper Association has released its December 2014 Kraft Paper Report.

Total Kraft paper shipments were 128.4 thousand short tons, 11.9 percent higher than last month. Bleached Kraft paper shipments increased to 9.7 thousand tons compared to November’s 8.6, while unbleached Kraft paper shipments increased from 106.1 thousand tons to 118.7. Overall, shipments in 2014 were 2.3 percent lower than in 2013. Total month-end inventories increased to 79.3 thousand tons in December.
