ProJet successfully starts up Dryer Fabric Cleaners at Papeles Ultra and Smurfit-Kappa (Mexico)

ProJet have succesfully started up a total of 5 Power Cleaners:

• Three (3) Cleaners at Papeles Ultra in Mexico City.
• Two (2) Cleaners at Smurfit-Kappa in Monterrey. This order was a spin-off of the successful installation of Power Cleaners at another Smurfit-Kappa mill in Los Reyes, Mexico.

A Power Cleaner is a continuous cleaning device for Dryer Fabrics.

Both machines machines produce Corrugated Medium and Kraftliner, using 100% OCC. OCC is known for its extreme contamination on the 1st and 2nd Dryer Sections. The Power Cleaner is highly effective in maintaining cleanliness and permeability of Dryer Fabrics which is exactly the reason that Papeles Ultra and Smurfit Kappa chose ProJet as its preferred supplier for cleaning equipment, because the Power Cleaner provides the highest cleaning efficiency available.

The Power Cleaner uses a single traversing head that cover the fabrics using up to 14 ruby nozzles at a pressure of maximum 500 bar (7,500psi). Air knives and a Venturi-vacuum-system make sure all water and debris is effectively discharged into a save-all and from there, outside the machine. While these Cleaners were successfully started up, ProJet received more orders in Q1 and Q2, 2021 for Power Cleaners from: Greif Board, USA; Domtar, USA; Takasago Paper, Japan; Oji Materia Paper, Japan; Shah Paper, India; Chelny Paper, Russia; Modern Karton, Turkey; Fajar Paper, Indonesia; Strathcona Paper, Canada.

All above systems are expected to be delivered by 2021 and beginning of 2022.
