ANDRITZ successfully starts up tissue machine with steel Yankee for LLC Pulp Invest

International technology Group ANDRITZ has successfully completed the start-up of the PrimeLineCOMPACT II tissue machine with steel Yankee supplied to LLC Pulp Invest, Kazan, Russia.

The machine has a design speed of 1,700 m/min and a width of 2.8 m. The Yankee, manufactured entirely of steel, has a diameter of 3.6 m. ANDRITZ supplied the full turnkey package, comprising a new PrimeLineCOMPACT II tissue machine with steel Yankee as well as the complete stock preparation plant, pumps, automation, and electrification.
