30 years of emtec Electronic and its expertise in testing solutions: The company celebrates its anniversary at MIAC in Lucca

Emtec Electronic GmbH, based in Leipzig, is marking 30 years of expertise in testing solutions and will celebrate this anniversary together with customers, partners and friends at stand B41 during the MIAC exhibition in Lucca, Italy, from October 8 to 10.

Once again, the international paper industry will gather at MIAC to gain a comprehensive overview of the latest technologies and equipment. The emtec Electronic team will be on site to present its innovative measuring technologies, share insights into new applications and developments, and raise a glass to three decades of success.

At booth B41, the company will showcase two well-known yellow laboratory devices designed to determine particle charge and zeta potential in the wet end of paper production: the CAS Charge Analyzing System and the FPA Fiber Potential Analyzer. Compact, lightweight and user-friendly, these solutions are widely used and appreciated, particularly among chemical suppliers.

In addition, emtec will present the FPO Fiber Potential Analyzer Online, an online measuring system for the automatic and continuous determination of zeta potential in suspension. The device independently collects pulp samples from the paper machine via two alternating connections, measures them, and cleans the measuring cell before taking the next sample. Measured values – including zeta potential, pH, conductivity and temperature – are automatically transferred to the process control system and, if needed, to a secure cloud platform for remote access worldwide.

As innovative as it is easy to use, the ACA Ash Content Analyzer enables fast and precise detection of mineral fillers in paper and board in just two minutes. Without destroying the sample, the device provides detailed information on the percentage of individual mineral fillers as well as the overall filler content.

For the evaluation of haptic properties in tissue products, emtec will present its TSA Tactile Sensation Analyzer in a redesigned version. Now equipped with a touchscreen for improved usability, the upgraded TSA also offers additional options for tracking optical and thermo-haptic characteristics, enhancing its capability to analyze the sensory profile of tissue.
