Smartlogistix and Fosber announced the signing of a collaboration agreement aimed at the joint development of integrated solutions for the automation of intralogistics flows serving corrugated cardboard production.

The partnership was established with the objective of designing innovative, practical and scalable technologies for the automated handling and management of raw materials, semi-finished products and finished goods within corrugated board plants. The solutions under development are intended to optimise automatic material supply, improve operational continuity and enhance overall plant efficiency and safety by reducing the risk of human error and limiting the use of manual forklift operations.

According to the companies, the agreement represents a further step towards a shared and integrated vision of intralogistics automation, where machines, software platforms and material handling systems are natively interconnected. This approach aims to support the evolution of corrugated cardboard plants into increasingly intelligent, modern and sustainable production environments.

The joint solution is the result of a shared design process that combines Fosber’s operational and technological requirements with the intralogistics expertise of Smartlogistix, a company within the A.Celli Group. A.Celli Group is internationally recognised for its solutions for the tissue sector and for logistics systems serving the paper industry.

“We are proud to have defined this agreement with Fosber, a leading industrial player in the Lucca district and a global leader in machinery for corrugated cardboard manufacturing,” said Mauro Celli, President of Smartlogistix. “This collaboration enhances complementary expertise and represents a concrete opportunity driven by a shared industrial vision, creating real added value for our customers worldwide.”

Marco Bertola, CEO of Fosber Group, highlighted the strategic relevance of the agreement: “This represents a significant step in the expansion of our portfolio of value-added solutions. The collaboration allows us to develop a paper roll handling system fully aligned with our design and quality standards and, above all, with our customers’ needs, leveraging well-established industrial expertise. We are confident that this synergy will deliver tangible benefits to the market and further strengthen our technological offering.”
