Guillin Group acquires Gruyaert Verpakking and V de V in Belgium

Guillin Group, a European leader in food packaging solutions and related materials, completed the acquisition of two Belgian companies: Gruyaert Verpakking and Verpakkingen V de V.

Gruyaert Verpakking is recognised as Belgium’s leading manufacturer of customised cardboard pastry boxes, while Verpakkingen V de V distributes Gruyaert’s packaging solutions on the Belgian market, together with a range of complementary products. In 2024, the two companies generated combined revenues of €19 million and employed approximately 40 people.

Through this acquisition, the Guillin Group continued its strategy of expanding its product offering, strengthening its ability to meet a broad range of customer needs while further consolidating its expertise in food packaging solutions.

Commenting on the transaction, Sophie Guillin, CEO of the Guillin Group, stated: “Gruyaert and VdeV are family businesses, driven by a love of their products and a commitment to a job well done. We were impressed by their expertise, their rigor, and their remarkable manufacturing processes.
