SCA to invest €21M in Romanian production facility
SCA is planning to build a new plant in Păuleşti, in Romania’s south-eastern part. The production facility will make its output for Zewa, SCA’s brand of toilet paper and household towels.
The planned investment is estimated to be worth some RON 94 million (€21 million). Of these, about 50% were to be provided to SCA by the Romanian government as part of state aid.
Păuleşti is located less than 80 km from the country’s capital Bucharest.
SCA is operated by a global workforce of about 40,000.
