AFT secures order in Asia-Pacific for full stock preparation system rebuild

AFT (Aikawa Fiber Technologies) received an order from a mill in the Asia-Pacific region for a complete rebuild of its stock preparation system, supporting the mill’s project to install a new fine paper production line. The investment is intended to increase production flexibility, improve fiber processing efficiency, and ensure consistently high-quality output in fine paper grades.
AFT’s supply package includes conveying systems and MaxVortex bale pulping technology engineered to handle three different types of raw materials. The delivery also comprises MaxEdge™ refiners for hardwood and softwood fiber development, along with a MaxRid™ detrasher and a MaxWash™ Drum to secure efficient broke handling and enhanced cleaning performance.
The order further includes a POMix™ stock processor for accurate stock blending, as well as several pumps and agitators that support the overall performance of the stock preparation line.
In addition to the equipment supply, AFT will provide process and plant engineering services, complemented by essential field support and start-up assistance to ensure seamless integration and optimized operation from the very start of production.
AFT’s technologies are designed to enhance process stability, minimize variability, and improve raw material utilization, contributing to higher operational reliability and improved end-product quality. Project execution is underway, with equipment deliveries scheduled to begin in early 2026.
