KB-Hoa Lu Paper of Vietnam successfully starts up OCC line delivered by ANDRITZ
OCC line at HKB-HOA Lu Paper, Vietnam.

HKB-Hoa Lu Paper has successfully started up an OCC (old corrugated containers) line and a reject treatment system delivered by ANDRITZ at its mill in Nho Quan District, Ninh Binh Province, Vietnam. The new line processes OCC with a capacity of 500 t/d to produce high-quality testliner and corrugated medium for the local and Chinese markets.

Mr. Ngo Huu Phuong, Vice Chairman, HKB-Hoa Lu Paper, says: “Thanks to the excellent cooperation between our team and ANDRITZ, the line has started up successfully as scheduled. We expect this line will perform excellently and produce highly competitive products.”

ANDRITZ’s scope of supply comprised the complete stock preparation equipment including the approach flow, fiber recovery, and reject treatment systems, detailed engineering and supervision of erection and commissioning as well as operation and maintenance support.

The innovative technology, including PrimePulping LC system, PrimeScreen X, dispersing system, ModuScreen HBE, as well as saveall DiscFilter, ensures high efficiency and superior final stock quality paired with excellent fiber properties. Minimum fiber losses and low specific power consumption are further benefits of the new system.
