Two Sides appoints Josh Birch as Managing Director from January 2027

Two Sides Europe appointed Josh Birch Managing Director, effective 1 January 2027. He will succeed Jonathan Tame, who has led the organisation since 2014.

Birch has worked at Two Sides for more than six years. As Marketing Manager, he helped develop communications, research, member engagement and the Two Sides and Love Paper campaigns.

His plans include expanding activity in European markets and introducing an AI-enabled multilingual communications platform, while continuing research, advocacy, resources and member services.

Birch said: “Our industry has an extremely positive story to tell”. Tame highlighted his campaign knowledge, creativity and commitment to members, and expressed confidence in the transition.

Chair Martyn Eustace said the next development phase will combine the European digital platform with an enhanced membership offer and wider market coverage.

The initiative promotes the sustainability and attractiveness of print, paper and paper-based packaging through research and communications.
