Russia’s Lesinvest to invest $350 million in production

OOO Lesinvest, plans to increase the capacities of its Segezha pulp and paper mill, one of Russia’s largest pulp and paper producers, during the next several years, according to Sergei Pomelov, general director of Lesinvest. The production of unbleached paper sack should reach 360,000 tonnes by 2017, compared to the current 250,000 tonnes. The project also aims to improve the quality and reduce production costs.

At the same time the second investment project involves the increase of production of paper bags up to 90 million pieces.
