Pyrolytic glasses on MONTINI forklifts series “MR”

The cabs of the MONTINI “MR” electric forklifts (load capacities from 6 to 10 tons) can be optionally equipped with the innovative pyrolytic glass, both curved and plane.
The glass is composed of two layers of tempered glass joined by a plastic film.
The passage of current fully prevents the glass misting, also in case of sudden temperature changes, and it generates an optimal heating inside the cab for the operator.
One of the glass sheets has the electro-conductive transparent layer.
The presence of this layer instead of the micro-wires completely eliminates the optical distorsion. By means of a switch, available between the control devices of the forklift, a thermostat – positioned on the glass – is activated and keeps the temperature inside the cab to the required level, thus avoiding that the glass surface unnecessarily achieves too high temperatures. The innovation of the pyrolytic glasses permit to save money and ensure a better comfort in every season, further improving the optical-thermal-energy performances of the glass.
