Overmade was commissioned in October 2020, by an important client in the Middle East, to realize the Angel project, a complete tissue plant for the production 30,000 TPY of high-quality facial tissue. The customer, well knowing the quality of the product manufactured by the OVER CR C20 tissue machines, has requested the entire line to Overmade on the base of a turn-key supply: from the bales’ conveyors to the wrapping line. The complete scope of supply includes the softwood and hardwood line, the water treatment and fiber recovery plant and all the auxiliaries such as vacuum system, steam system, high efficiency hood, mist and dust removal systems for machine and winder and an advanced double dilution system to feed the DYNAFLO-C headbox. On top of that, the electrification of the entire tissue mill as well as the Sectional Electrical Drives system, the DCS (Distributed Control System) and QCS (Quality Control System) will be supplied with the order. The heart of the mentioned tissue line is represented by the OVER CR C20, which is one of Overmade’s tissue machine models, capable to produce the softest facial tissue. Moreover this machine implements the DYNAFLO-C, in other words the latest development of the DYNAFLO headboxes.

The OVER CR C20 machine already demonstrated to “over-perform” in terms of efficiency and efficacy, excelling in the fiber distribution at high consistency, while reducing the softwood needs in the paper. The machine is equipped with a 4,572 mm diameter Yankee and it is conceived to work at a speed of 2,000 mpm, but actually it has already demonstrated to break its wall of stated operating speed on many occasions. All the already above-mentioned energy saving and aero-thermic solutions implemented in the Angel project has been designed and supplied by Powermade. The newborn partner branch in the MADE Group has given the chance to complete the Overmade’s products portfolio permitting to supply, from a single platform, integrated solutions to all the tissue and paper & board producers. The order was completed with the OVER T 3500, Overmade’s most advanced and fast two-drums slitter winder, equipped with 3 unwind stands capable to handle jumbo rolls with a diameter up to 3000 mm and crown type calender.
The deadline for delivery scheduled in the summer 2021 has been met and the Italian company is performing the job including the supply of all necessary services of engineering, logistics and erection services as well as assistance at the start-up of the line. Such on-site services will be entirely under the supervision of Overmade’s qualified personnel, who will be in charge of the coordination and control of the work during all the erection and the commissioning phases, from the start-up to the training of the client’s employees. For many years the Italian company has been serving the market with this machine type size, and over time it has shown to be Overmade’s feather in the cap, satisfying the demands from customers all over the globe.

The management shows to be enthusiastic about this new delivery, that has arrived from an experienced tissue producer and considers this project as a preparation of the battleground to gain further market shares in a very interesting and growing market.
